HOW OUR WORLDS EVOLVED OVER THE PAST 30 YEARS
Why are Brett, Kate & Chelsea the perfect combination for Adelaide Hills Escape & how did they meet?Well, back in the 1990's, Kate's mother worked for Sydney Street, the Partington's national multi award winning retail fashion stores.
In 2008, Kate returned to Adelaide from Hervey Bay & her mum Liz advised there was a position going at Sydney Street & should apply. Brett was the General Manager. He interviewed Kate & she was offered the position as a fashion sales consultant. Kate & Brett later developed Sydney Street's online store where she learnt many marketing/eCommerce skills.
Kate's daughter Chelsea then came on board as a fashion sales consultant when Sydney Street set up pop up store's at the country field day locations across South Australia. It was then realised by the Sydney Street management that Chelsea, her mother Kate & her grandmother Liz all had a similar work/sales ethic & a strong rapport with customers.
Today, the two families not only still work in business together but also connect at special events.
